Tarantino's world-building and storytelling are showcased in this film as powerfully as the first film. The style of this film is distinct from the first one and provides a breathtaking view of the Kill Bill universe. A great conclusion to the story. 5/5. Over-the-top, satisfying, and bloody brilliant.

- 5 dgn geledenThe alternate/original ending concept for "Kill Bill: Vol. 2" being that, Beatrix & Bill would face eachother on the beach at night, rather than taking place sitting down. Apparently "Beatrix" was going to wear her wedding dress 👰 therefore creating a visual connection to the wedding massacre that started her revenge journey, throughout the coarse of the 2 films. It was supposed to be a real proper sword-fighting climax. And for me the beach at night, with the waves in the background, would have made for an absolutely phenomenal looking spectacle, for this showdown between Beatrix & Bill that we've been building upto. And there's also a cool 😎 piece of evidence, that the poster for the film, shows "Beatrix" in her wedding dress with her sword, which is very consistent with the originally planned beach fight finale concept. Now here's the question, would the originally planned finale ending concept have worked better, than the finished film that we ended up getting? 👇 For me, the originally planned beach fight finale concept, would have worked a hell of a lot better because; there would have been a bigger payoff between everything that was built up over the two films. The whole visual symbolism & thematic throughline would have been more impactful & stronger because; with "Beatrix" being in her wedding dress, carrying her sword, with her confronting "Bill" on the night beach would have imo, connected that finale directly to the wedding massacre set her path to revenge in motion. Also in the finished film, that we ended up getting, the fight between Beatrix & Bill is very brief. This needed to be a long drawn out final duel sword fight, taking place on a beautiful night on the beach, with the waves crashing in the background. If I had creative control of this, that's where and that's what I would have done and taken it a 💯 Just imagine what that would have looked like on the big screen. And how spectacular it would have been. We will never know, but there's nothing wrong in trying to imagine what could have been. And finally, I do love Kill Bill: Vol.2 but a big part of me always can't help but think; what that original ending would have looked like everytime I go back and rewatch it. My Personal Ratings/Scores for Kill Bill: Vol.2 is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & an 8/10
