The film mixes rubbery creature effects, glowing tunnels and that unmistakable 80s “everything is slightly off” atmosphere. It’s campy, earnest and occasionally unsettling in a way only practical effects sci‑fi can be. It’s not polished, it’s not subtle, but it is the exact kind of movie you remember catching on TV as a kid, strange, loud and unforgettable in its own scrappy way. A cult classic that wears its B movie heart proudly on its sleeve.
