    A poem as a movie.

She is Waluigi “No worries.” …and THAT’S why I only gave A Woman Under The Influence 4.5 stars (lol) Thank you for reinforcing my belief I should not have kids. We definitely do affect our children for life and I am in no position to have the power to shape that effect! Way too relatable. Even up to the main character looking and sounding like an ex-gf of mine. If I was on shrooms, I would be losing my mind Jessie Buckley plays neurotic very well. Like a female Jesse Eisenberg lolol (she’s also insanely gorgeous) The Robert Zemeckis bit had me hootin’ & hollerin’ We never really grow up! “Art is imitation, creation is forever / Innovation is spontaneous, never / A lot of rappers put the work in so you could be clever / Everything is everything is everything is everything, ever” - Lil Ugly Mane, On Doing An Evil Deed Blues Charlie Kaufman smart as hell. And anxious as fuck

Some startling moments of sheer acting brilliance does not do a thing to hide the fact that the entire piece is one giant load of horseshit. At its core, I'm Thinking of Ending Things is not a film; it's an act of aggression against its audience, a smug exercise in cinematic masturbation that glaringly mistakes obscurity for depth. The film is so drenched in pretentiousness that it becomes loathsome, using philosophical name-dropping and literary references not to explore ideas, but to create an insiders club that leaves the average viewer feeling mocked for their inability to decipher the "puzzle". Self-Indulgent Drivel Disguised as Art!!! Do not waste your time on this yiddite doozy.

i'm not one to decipher a "dream" movie so on first watch it was a very weird, pretty funny little nonsense surreal comedy but after being told what the story actually is and then re-watching it I enjoyed it a lot more, all of the strange nonsense made perfect sense and I feel like I almost completely understand the character's whole life. a big bag of fun

A cerebral, unsettling puzzle reminiscent of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’s existential strangeness. Pretentious… or genius? Charlie Kaufman’s voice permeates, leaving the audience unsure what to feel. A thought-provoking, darkly humorous, and weirdly mesmerizing exploration of identity and perception. Intriguing, confusing, and memorable in equal measure.

Finally! A movie that gets easier to understand as the plot unravels! 🤥🤫🧐🤯

At first I thought I was too dumb to get what was going on. Then I read some commentary and realized I did get it, and the whole thing was just super pretentious and meandering. I will say I the performances in the movie were excellent though.
