In the 1980s, in Rio de Janeiro, the identical twins Iara and Marilena deceive men by pretending to be each other. One day, Marilena meets Osmar, the owner of a school, with whom she falls in love. Iara tries to seduce her sister's boyfriend starting a rivalry between them.
