A movie about video games written like a video game. It's amusing for some of the meta but otherwise it's not quite good as a popcorn flick. Might be good in the background of a LAN party.

Gamer is just big dumb fun. I love video games and I found the satirical depictions of popular shooter call of duty and sim games such as the sims and second life, hilarious. There is no realism here, it's just a lot of crazy action, bright colours and wisecracks. The effects are decent, the acting is pretty cheesy and the story is utterly implausible. And I don't care, because this film is great fun. It's mindless entertainment, and sometimes that's what I'm in the mood for, which is why I gave it five stars.

What could have been an enjoyable idea ruined with abrasive editing and camera. Over the top desensitization. Surprisingly good cast.

I gave it 3/5 stars. Good movie to watch. Lots of gore, explosions, and provocative. Plot line🤔, could have played out a little better. A Man’s movie for sure. Reminded me of life today with people being controlled like zombies. Not thinking for themselves. From 2020 till now 2025. President DJTrump. Slowly getting back to normal now. TY Lord and savior “JESUS CHRIST”.🇺🇸💯✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼.
