An inventive and unusual film, poorly executed, with some considerably am-dram performances. All the slow build up is hastily rushed and tied up in the final act, and so much of it feels like you are at your local, village theatre, both in setup and delivery. And whilst its message is perhaps more prevalent today, than in the early 2000's, it still feels like it gets jumbled and muddled... is surveillance our enemy, or our saviour? The final 'gotcha' gives the impression that the writers weren't entirely sure. Evans is without doubt awkward, as you would imagine, but not in any kind of believable way. That being said, he at least looks like he is aware this isn't a cast read through, which can't be said for many of the others. Fast forward.
