"Disturbia" serves as an entertaining popcorn flick, delivering just the right mix of suspense and eerie fun without aiming for anything deeper. It's an enjoyable watch that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

A decent riff on Rear Window with a little bit of found footage flavor and plenty of early 2000s vibes.

Rewatched it just now and it still works as a laid-back, slightly tense watch. You can really feel the Rear Window influence all over it, just with a more modern, teen-focused vibe. It’s not super polished and some parts feel a bit dated, but the mix of suspense and humor keeps it engaging. It knows what it is and doesn’t overcomplicate things. Not perfect, but easy to get into and pretty fun for what it is.

Shia’s trapped in his house and has some interesting neighbors. Good movie, rewatched many times.

It's watchable and entertaining and very simple, no super twists. Perhaps, ok to watch one time. After I was done watching i just forgot about this movie and did not want to discuss with my friends. Later, observing Viola Davis's filmography I remembered that she was in it as detective. I love this actress and see her starting in such movies is funny.

Entertaining for sure, I like Shia, I think he does a good job.

While it lacks the subtle tension of the Hitchcock classic it’s "borrowing" from, it compensates with charismatic leads and a genuine sense of claustrophobia. It’s a nostalgic time capsule of iPods, camcorders, and the era before every neighbor had a Ring camera to do the spying for them.

The plot of the movie is okay enough, nothing special happening, typical teenager thinks his neighbor is a killer and then proceeds to play detective and see if it is true type of story. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and will make you ask questions over and over again, those are always the thrillers that are worth seeing.
