- Ecto-1A3 november 2025🕯️ Five tales. One twisted masterpiece. Still creeping after all these years. Creepshow is definitely one of the best horror anthology films out there. I grew up watching this and many others like it, but Creepshow still ranks in my Top 5 for its storytelling, special effects, scare factor and pacing. Putting two masters of the macabre, George A. Romero and Stephen King together was like capturing lightning in a bottle. Each of the five stories has its own flavor of creepiness, ranging from genuinely terrifying to darkly funny (not necessarily in that order).

Een vijfluik van horrorverhalen, geïnspireerd op de oude DC horrorcomics. In 'Father's Day' brengt een zombie een vaderdagstaart naar zijn dochter. In 'The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verril' ontdekt een boer een meteoriet en wordt daarna ziek. In 'Something to Tide You Over' begraaft een man zijn vrouw en haar minnaar in het strand en wacht tot het vloed wordt. In 'The Crate' wordt een geheimzinnige kist met een in de kelder van een school gezet. Helaas zit er een beest in een krat dat al gauw ontsnapt. In 'They're Creeping Up On You' krijgt een rijke man gezelschap van ontelbare kakkerlakken.
