- flavo4322 november 2025Watching Cloak & Dagger as a kid in the ’80s felt like someone had reached into my brain, grabbed my favourite daydreams, and put them on screen. It wasn’t just another adventure movie; it was my fantasy—spies, secret missions, and a video game that actually mattered. I loved my Atari, so the idea that a simple cartridge could hide real espionage secrets seemed absolutely awesome at the time, not ridiculous. The mix of suspense, chases, and a kid who actually knows more than the adults pulled me right in. Henry Thomas made it easy to imagine I could stumble into something huge just by playing games and paying attention. Looking back, some parts are definitely over the top, but as a childhood experience, Cloak & Dagger was pure wish fulfillment: dangerous, exciting, and just believable enough to make me glance at my own game cartridges and wonder, “What if…?”
