Aside from the actors and the scenery, the shark and action clips SCREAMS AI and that is a slap in the face to the movie industry. It’s like they slapped a prompt in regards to special effects on chat gpt and called it a day😭

From the get-go, you realize it's a low-budget affair with a recycled story, and the actors just give very average performances. Wait till you reach the climax and find out why the bad guy is feeding people to sharks the reasoning is so stupid and awkward that it'll make you laugh out loud. Watch it only if you have zero other options and just want to kill some time.

Ford4 juli 2026I will begin this with....I absolutely HATE movie snobs...Folks who dont understand the energy and intent of a film....then judge it harshly because they came with their own expectations...and ruin the vybe for others.....Now with that out of the way....Chum is another play on the Jaws ideal...with a scense of familiarity for folks who travel with friends. The story isn't the worse but isnt the best.....It will hold your attention at the least. It has the typical ups ...pretty women....beautiful scenarios....etc.....and it has the typical downs...lags in momentum at times....and amateurish editing. Outside of those things we all are in this for the shark attacks....which hit quick and are decent when they happen. THE CHATACTERS ARE TYPICAL...no surprises at all....The cinematography is decent....The special effects are not bad..but they aren't top knotch either.....In my opinion if youre looking for some good old fashion sharkfest..this will do....sandwich...soda...movie time.
- DavChar21 juni 2026This movie was a decent shark attack movie; lots of attacks, plenty of shark footage. A little too much yakety yak, but otherwise a sold film. Until the end, when the reason for the shark attacks are the result of climate change, a condition which is made up and doesn't actually exist (not to be confused with pollution, which is a problem).
