    This is not Scorsese’s best film and probably wouldn’t even be in the discussion for best crime dramas. But I will tell you from personal experience that Sharon Stones performance is so amazing that anyone who says her acting here was bad, is just flat wrong.

    Sharon Stone and Pesci are phenomenal. Amazing soundtrack. I bet Rob Zombie is a big fan of this film. Watching this in upgraded definition makes it look a lot like an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, mainly during some of the early exterior scenes

    Casino is a gaudy symphony of greed, betrayal, and neon, but Joe Pesci turns it into something terrifying. As Nicky Santoro he isn’t just violent, he’s volcanic, smiling one minute and caving in skulls the next, a performance that feels like rage sculpted into art. It’s the perfect twin to Goodfellas, proving that Pesci at full throttle is as unforgettable as Dirk Diggler at his most unhinged — the kind of role that burns itself into cinema history.
