Visually, the movie is absolutely gorgeous, and the attention to period detail is remarkable. While the narrative is a bit predictable and the ending didn't completely land for me, its raw portrayal of child marriage and its powerful underlying social message make it incredibly impactful. A hauntingly beautiful film. 3.5/5
