- Zokkiie9 juli 2026This is still peak Marvel for me. Somehow it manages to juggle a ridiculous number of characters without anyone feeling completely forgotten, and it never loses momentum. The action is incredible, the cast is on top form, and Thanos ended up being way better than I ever expected. Every time the movie cuts to another group, you're just as invested as before. I know Endgame has the bigger payoff and the huge emotional moments, but as a complete movie, I think this one is stronger. The pacing is tighter, the story flows better, and it keeps the tension up from beginning to end. There are so many moments that still hit just as hard no matter how many times I watch it. Easily one of the best superhero movies ever made.

Infinity War isn’t just a prelude to Endgame—it’s a masterpiece in its own right. 5/5 because anything less would be a snap in the wrong direction.
- Bryan5 juni 2026Wow, folks hated my take, so let me revise and elaborate. Infinity War exists almost completely to set the table for Endgame. As a stand alone movie, it is an intensely frustrating movie because your heroes continuously fail. Their decisions and actions are repeatedly suspect as well as egregiously out of (well established) character, and almost everything feels as if it was table setting. It was, of course, as are many MCU plot points, but they usually don't *feel* like table setting. Because it is overstuffed, the new villains, Thanos aside, are not well fleshed out, which is a shame because several seemed like they cold be interesting. In conjunction with Endgame and a six-hour watch, Infinity War is not so bad, but as a stand alone feature I found the entire thing (Thor's arc aside) intensely frustrating.
- gradientorange9 juni 2025the first truly perfect marvel project by my standard. it has all the marvel elements at their best. great story that keeps you engaged from start to finish. characters with development and relationships you can easily care about. heart and emotion. humor that doesn’t distract, disrupt, or disrespect. impressive action and plot with stakes. music, CGI, and all elements of production are on their A-game. this movie makes hours and hours and hours of content feel worth every minute. what a triumph
