- Zokkiie8 juni 2026I love how scrappy this movie feels. It takes a pretty simple idea and squeezes every bit of fun out of it without ever feeling bloated. The energy is great, the humor lands, and the cast does a fantastic job of making the whole thing feel grounded even when everything gets completely ridiculous. It's one of those movies that knows exactly how long it should be and never overstays its welcome. A few of the characters take a little time to warm up to, and the budget limitations show here and there. Honestly though, that rough-around-the-edges quality is part of the charm. The movie has way more personality than a lot of bigger sci-fi action films, and it's impossible not to appreciate how much it accomplishes with relatively little. Funny, tense, and just plain cool.
- Tubz9 januari 2026Went out on a Saturday night and come back with more change than this movie had in a budget, script was amateurish, acting was over the top trying to be street, Jodie Whittaker as annoying as she was in Dr.Who, John Boyega brought very little to his character, as much as he did in Star Wars and Nick Frost, who I can't stand in anything he does turned up for a pay cheque, he is just a greasy same character sidekick to Simon Pegg's talent. Overall I was cheering for the aliens, so yeh, don't expect much and movie for a low TV night.
