And when I watched it today it just brought back great memories; I grew up loving this film and I was only 5 years old when it came out thats wild. I just felt so nostalgic the whole way through it. Also there's two [Fun-Facts] about "ANTZ" 01: This was the first ever animated film to come from "DREAMWORKS" studio & 02: Most people already know this, but I'm going to mention it anyway and that is this came out the same year as "A BUGS LIFE" so in the year "1998" we had two ant movies and tbh I slightly preferred "ANTZ" over "A BUGS LIFE" but that's me!!
- KillerRoo1 april 2026Antz was the first of the new 3D-style computer animation movies I saw. It says something that I entirely forgot about the all-star cast this boasted, although they did a good job of it overall. It suffers from being an overdone story (princess slums it and falls for the not-like-the-others commoner), and it feels like they could have done much more with the illustrious voice cast. Entertaining and worth a watch, but it won’t be rocking anyone’s world.
