Daredevil

Daredevil
It’s watchable, but there are so many issues, not least that the film plays like a comic, rather than a comic book movie. The scenes are very directly knitted, with little story in between, which leaves everything feeling rigid and stunted. The effects and action have a distinctly early noughties feel, and it falls into the lazy trap of being over run with a nu-metal soundtrack to try and paper over the cracks with dramatic music, rather than storyline. The leads are all subjected to a cheesy script, and Pantoliano is criminally underused. Not seen it? Not missed much.
