The Superdeep

The Superdeep
This one’s got that “what did I just watch?” energy.
Russian scientists and soldiers head down into the Kola Superdeep Borehole to investigate a mysterious outbreak and what they find is… not just a disease. It’s something ancient, parasitic, and very wrong.
The vibe is pure The Thing meets Event Horizon, but with a Soviet twist.
The pacing’s uneven and the characters make classic horror movie mistakes, but the atmosphere is solid.
Claustrophobic tunnels, eerie silence and a slow descent into biological madness.
The creature effects are gooey and weird, and the whole thing leans into body horror hard.
It’s not perfect, some of the plot feels rushed, and the dialogue can be clunky, but it’s got ambition.
I streamed it and expected a very bad low budget scarefest, but got more than I bargained for.
