Not going to lie. Extremely disappointed. I didn’t see any trailers or honestly have any idea what was going to happen but I just didn’t get swept into this story. There was some beautiful imagery and I thought jaquein phoniex did an excellent job but it didn’t bring me fully into the story. To me the ending was also unsatisfying. I guess this is just one of those art house films that doesn’t click with me unfortunately.
