My quick rating - 6.3/10. At times, extremely over-the-top action flick from Korea that seems to step on a little bit of all of the Asian toes. We have a spy thriller that has South Korean agents fighting with Japanese agents in a city in China over some top secret info that links to a conspiracy that could lead to the unification of Korea? Or maybe I was reading too far into this one LOL. As far as the action goes, they sure do nail the genre here with our standard burn-out cop being demoted and taking the win at all costs method of going after the bad guys. The movie runs over 2 hours long and this is for two reasons: Elaborate and violent action scenes that are well choreographed, which will keep you glued to them, AND an overly complicated plot with characters coming and going to the point of confusion. The twists that occur sometimes include people that you are already past and have to figure out how they are involved. I don't think you'll get totally lost or anything. I just found that they were trying to pack way too much into this when what they had going was good enough. There was an interesting array of characters on the teams that needed to band together to keep the agency secrets from the ultimate bad guy, who you will identify after plenty of misdirection throughout. Still a quality entry for any fans who may want a look at the Eastern style of action films. Yes, there are better introductions, but this is something fresh and streaming now on Netflix. A sequel is coming, it appears.
