- HumptyFebruary 23, 2025I wish I had the power to stop time too, Charles is OP.
- flavo431d agoX-Men 2 (or X2) remains one of the best superhero sequels ever made, capturing the spirit, intensity, and complexity of the comics with remarkable fidelity. From the opening minutes—Nightcrawler’s electrifying assault on the White House—the film never lets up. It weaves together elements from two major comic storylines, introducing William Stryker as a chilling, calculated villain whose plan to wipe out all mutants pushes the stakes far beyond simple hero-versus-villain conflict. The movie also gives audiences an early look at Wolverine’s tortured origins, adding emotional weight without derailing the main plot. The ensemble cast is used effectively, with each character contributing something meaningful to the escalating crisis. The action is exciting and relentless, yet balanced with strong character moments and thoughtful themes about fear, prejudice, and identity. X-Men 2 delivered everything that made the comics great—team dynamics, moral conflict, political tension, and spectacle—cementing itself as a high point of early 2000s superhero cinema.
- GodertzzNovember 9, 2025My opinion this film is the best out of the trilogy and its an amazing film. Good sequel aswell
- seric916October 30, 2025Good sequel. Fairly old movie but still stands up. Ian mckellan and Patrick Stewart are great as always.
- AngusMcNutzDecember 5, 2024I always forget how much better this one is than the first one. Comfy viewing for the dumbass nerd in me.

- Danny Potter-JonesAugust 24, 2025These Old X-Men films aren't written that well but growing up with this is nostalgic and feels acceptable. The costumes are still lame but the characters are pretty decent. The actors for Magneto, professor X, Wolverine are really good. Nightcrawler wasn't bad after the first scene as he's very religious so that's comic accurate.
- keithy077August 16, 2025Bourne’s villain returns, Jeans don’t survive the wash
- Amir AnimashaunAugust 8, 2025I went in with a high standard since I hear people say this movie is one of the most underrated superhero movies but I disagree. The action, visuals, hair and make up design is amazing but the music and flashy lights are jarring. Iceman, Rogue and Pyro have no purpose whatsoever just to set up the third movie. Lady Deathstrike vs. Wolverine although short it was pretty cool and seeing Jean’s early descent into The Phoenix was interesting. Cyclops sucks so hard bro was barely in the movie. But hey Nightcrawler was pretty cool. I could go on forever but eh cba.
- mickerdooJuly 14, 2025Extremely iconic sequel that surpasses the first. If you mention X-Men this is the first thing that comes to mind. Good story development.
- macaron32June 26, 2025The toads not in this one sorry all my toad fan
- NonPlayableContentFebruary 22, 2025While they tried realllllly hard and even while boasting some of the more iconic scenes in this trilogy like the lead in the blood, there are a lot of flaws like the writing and deviation from source materials for no reason. Worst offense to me is the change of who made logan. There is even a line where they open cerebro and it says "welcome professor" and striker cheeses... but it's striker and not Professor Thorton, what a miss. For the time this looks great and is a fun addition to the trilogy but not a good stand alone film.
- AbbaNovember 23, 2024More decent than I remembered
