- Humpty23 de fevereiro de 2025Went to see this with my dad when I was 7 he told me you could grow wings like that from eating a lot of McDonald's chicken nuggets. He was right. (Obesity came from it too)
- Mr719 de março de 2026One star for a seriously respectable opening. After that everything about this movie is atrocious. I mean everything. Brett Ratner (Rush Hour Trilogy) should have never been given the keys to such a beloved franchise. Still....cool opening!
- M08Y16 de janeiro de 2026Good lord this film sucks. I remember liking this film as a kid. Quite clearly I was an idiot. The Last Stand is SO much worse than I remember it being. It's rushed, unfocused, lazy, cringey and really quite ugly. Losing a main cast-member at the start of your film can be a sign of an excellent film to come. This was not one of those times. Despite this, the start of this film is the best. It's all downhill from here. After the main plot points are set up, Professor X is killed off in a very underwhelming CGI house with CGI ash and CGI debris while Ian McKellen looks very bored on a green-screen. Side note. If you have an Actor like Ian Mckellen, please don't waste him in shit like this. Magneto goes around recruiting a bunch of weirdos for his "mutant army". You'll only ever see like 5 of them, so you'll just have to accept that it's an army. Magneto and his 5 weird mates then go to Alcatraz on a floaty CGI bridge while Ian McKellen continues to question his life choices. The CGI is truly horrible here. Upon landing on the island, the X-Men show up for some rather ropey one liners and poorly directed fights. Jean gives Wolverine bad skin for a minute then he stabs her. Oh and there was a bit in the middle in a forest for some reason. I'm annoyed at myself for rewatching this as I genuinely had a positive sentiment before. Most of the cast look pretty checked out here, There is a lot of talent in this movie but you'd never know it. Vinnie Jones was fun as Juggernaut. The audio was about what you'd expect for a 2006 super hero movie. The visuals however were genuinely horrible. This has got to be one of the ugliest films I've ever seen. I refuse to accept that there was 1 year between this and Transformers. Most of this film looks like it was shot on a green-screen in someones garden and the composition was done by someone who is colour-blind in their one good eye. I actually hate this film so much.
- macaron3226 de junho de 2025Bro this is NOT the last ones
- mickerdoo13 de julho de 2025Wraps up a little too neat for the man vs mutant undertone. Wolverine finishing Jean feels like a stretch. True to big production tradition.
- chicharron_chel13 de fevereiro de 2025Brett falls flat
- Oʂɯαʅԃσ Rσყҽƚƚ1 de fevereiro de 2026I think this is one of the best comic adaptation for the cinemas. A lot of mutants, a lot of power. The Phoenix is the best of the movie. The final battle is perfect. Kelsey Grammar like Beast is very good. Halle Berry has a more important participation in the movie, but Hugh Jackman is the center of the attentions.
- Nathan Magreta27 de janeiro de 2026This film has the highest stakes in the franchise, but it doesn't live up to it. It's messy and although it does give a good enough conclusion, Brett ratner doesn't carry over everything making the first two so good.
- parralox13 de janeiro de 2026Seriously, if you're going to do Dark Phoenix, then do it correctly. This (and the other movie) are pathetic. You need to devote the ENTIRE movie (if not 2) to at least cover the Phoenix saga. A few shots of a confused Jean just doesn't cut it. ❌
- Harish Cousal12 de dezembro de 2025A messy finale with flashes of real ambition. The Phoenix story hits, even if it’s rushed and wild. Some big moments land, some fall flat, but the energy stays fun. Not great, not awful — just a chaotic ride you can still like
- flavo4321 de novembro de 2025X-Men: The Last Stand is a frustrating low point for a franchise that started so promisingly just six years earlier. Where the first two films balanced character, metaphor, and superhero spectacle, this one feels rushed, overstuffed, and strangely hollow. As someone who loved and grew up on the comics, watching iconic storylines like the Dark Phoenix Saga and the mutant “cure” arc get mashed together and flattened was painful. Characters are killed or depowered for shock value, emotional beats rarely land, and the heart of the X-Men—outsiders finding family and purpose—is buried under noisy set pieces. It didn’t just disappoint; it almost killed the series outright until the soft reboots and prequels arrived to repair the damage. Sitting in the cinema, I felt more numb than thrilled. There are flashes of what could have been, but The Last Stand ultimately stands as a cautionary tale about wasting hard-won audience trust and rich source material.
- Danny Potter-Jones24 de agosto de 2025This is rubbish. The design for Beast in this film is perfect but at the same time this is the worst version of Cyclops.
- keithy07717 de agosto de 2025Blue Fraser, wreaked Jeans, moved bridge for Alcatraz escape after decoy camping trip.
- Amir Animashaun9 de agosto de 2025Yikes you can tell Brett Ratner did not know what to do with this movie. I’ve always said Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is the greatest portrayal of a superhero but he was so out of character this movie he felt like a different person. So many character assassinations like cyclops sucks so hard. Rogue sucks so bad like why is she in these movies if she doesn’t even do anything. Pyro I strongly despise. The acting is just ehh and some dialogue is questionable. Magneto is ass in the movie. Done even get me started on juggernaut. The visuals are kinda bad but there are certain scene that look pretty good mainly from storm and iceman. This movie with a runtime of 1h 44m really hurt it because it felt super rushed. I could go on and on but the more bad I say the worst I feel about this movie. However the good is Iceman destroying Pyro, Jean/Phoenix she looked wonderful (especially storm and rogue). Kitty Pryde is the most underrated X-Men member. And the third act really grabbed me but it’s a shame the first two acts suck so hard.
- Godertzz9 de novembro de 2025Not as good as X2 But definetly a film to watch
