Wonder Woman Ratings & Reviews
- RyezooFebruary 15, 2025Best DCEU film so far! I'm excited I finally can write a positive review for a universe that's already four films deep. I was one of the skeptics on the casting of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and man did she prove me wrong! She fits the role and is a blast to watch on screen. It also helps that her chemistry with Chris Pine is magnetic! His casting is perfect, he's likable, great comedic timing, and sells you 100% on their relationship and invests you in it. I think that's part of the reason why even though this movie is over two hours long it feels well paced. I'm also surprised that this movie got me on a emotional level! The action looks great at times. For the most part I dug the use of SloMo even though it's used a little too often. My biggest complaint with this movie is the villain fight at the end. It just took me out of it and just resulted in another giant CGI brawl they gave me terrible flashbacks to BVS. It also felt pretty cheesy at times. The third act is still great thanks to everything else that's going on. Unfortunately this does not excite me for Justice League, still think it likes like DC Suckerpunch.... It does excite me though for another outing of Wonder Woman!
