- Stian Andreassen16 april 2026It’s cheap ass no-budget schlock, and I'm here for it! It has almost zero production value, but somehow great cinematography. It kinda feels like someones high school project, it’s that cheap. There’s lots of familiar faces here: Jack Palance, who for once has dialed down the ham; Martin Landau, who’s cranked the ham up to 11 and is batshit crazy; a really old Cameron Mitchell, a really young David Caruso. It’s the OG Predator – an alien uses Earth as a hunting ground, hunting humans for sport – and the alien is even played by Kevin Peter Hall! The flying biological bloodsucking ninja stars were awesome. The budget was $150,000, and Palance and Landau got half of that. The alien head cost $19,000. That’s all you need to know, to add it to your watchlist.
