Joe Enders is a gung-ho Marine assigned to protect a "windtalker" - one of several Navajo Indians who were used to relay messages during World War II because their spoken language was indecipherable to Japanese code breakers.
Windtalkers Ratings & Reviews
- usasandAugust 27, 2025This movie deserves more credit that is given. Good action and better story. Not much is said about code talkers, but they perform a great task in the pacific.
- Das_LamaJuly 4, 2025I actually liked this movie and its premise. My opinion is apparently in the minority based on other reviews. Navajo is apparently a very difficult language to learn. I met a native Navajo speaker and was told that even the slightest change or inflection can change the whole meaning of the word or sentence.
- Brennen JamisonMay 3, 2025One of the worst war movies I’ve ever seen. The set, dialogue, and atmosphere felt like I was on a movie set the whole time. Zero immersion.
