Wick Is Pain Ratings & Reviews
- Kit LazerMay 9, 2025No, Wick is pleasure
- Rick MastersMay 20, 2025A fascinating insight into the creation of the juggernaut that is the John Wick franchise. There's a lot of information locked and loaded into this documentary and confirms (like we needed more proof) that Keanu Reeves is an absolute gift to Hollywood.
- Damon KwongJune 8, 2025Absolute must see for any John Wick fan to get the inside scoop and thoughts of cast and crew of the blood sweat and tears it took to make all 4 movies. Keanu Reeves is a unique actor that does majority of his own stunts and trains many months in advance, even on sick days! Watch as he and the director Chad talk about what it took to make the movies and the ideas that came for each movie as budget grew.
- TonyHsiehMay 14, 2025I enjoy John Wick movies. Any honest insights into the genesis and ongoing struggles of creativity versus commerce in the world of John Wick is right up my alley.
- BigAbouALMay 13, 2025Love Keanu, loved hearing how it all started and the directors background, amazing.
- Darth PhyveJuly 14, 2025Wick is Pain is a brilliant behind the scenes peek at the birth and growth of the best franchise out there right now, and surprisingly, if not for a desperate housewife, the franchise would have been still-born.
- kilrainJuly 10, 2025Great doc. Just when you think you can't like Keanu Reeves anymore, you will after watching this.
- KrizidJune 7, 2025didn’t know i needed this in my life.
- falkerMay 13, 2025"Any chance of reducing the budget by $6.5m?" I wonder what the heck THAT movie would have looked like...
- James TangMay 11, 2025Great watch if you're a fan of the John Wick series and how movies are made. It touches on all of the challenges of getting the first movie off the ground, the evolution of the series, and potential glimpses of the future. Despite the 2hr plus runtime, it feels like you could add another 2 hours without it feeling laboured. There's probably a ton of things they didn't have a chance to touch on due to the time limit.
