This is a true classic. The acting was fabolous and draws you into this dark tail. You truly come to dislike Baby Jane. out of time but not irrelevant. Still a great watch. Its 2hours so be patient.

“Brilliant!” Baby Jane has definitely seen Sunset Boulevard Suffocating relatable on both sides! lmao Watched on a beat up 20 year old, 200 lb. 1080p television with terrible audio which felt..…fitting? It’s hilarious that the whole “forced signature” trope basically just no longer applies in the ~digital age~

A masterclass in tension, Whatever Happened To Baby Jane remains one of the all time great psychological thrillers. It's a film that is a very effective slow burn, which really adds that sense of dread to it; that ultimately keeps the audience on there toes the entire time. The setting of the decaying Hudson mansion is essential to the film's overall success. It's more than just a backdrop, the house acts as a physical manifestation of the sisters rotting lives. The chlostraphobic rooms and looming shadows add a heavy, Gothic tone to the atmosphere making the viewer feel just as trapped as the paralysed Blanche. It turns the once-glamorous Hollywood dream into a dark, inescapable prison. The film is anchored by two iconic performances from both the legendary Bette Davis & Joan Crawford. The chemistry fueled by their real-life feud, creates a level of suspense that modern thrillers rarely achieve nowadays. Full of psychological complexity and relentless suspense this is 💯 a must watch for any fan of the psychological thriller genre. And finally my Ratings/Scores for Whatever Happened To Baby Jane 1962 is 💯 without a doubt ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & a 10/10
