What ensues is a darkly comedic twenty-four hour marathon of drugs, violence and sexual frustration. Created by Michael Mackenzie and Tony Dupcinov, Wasteland is a black comedy about what happens to unemployed, under-achieving, lazy, drug-taking, time-wasting, irresponsible, Social Welfare-sponsored slackers as they contend with a lack of sex and money and an overabundance of drugs.
