Vanishing Point Ratings & Reviews
- nicpedersonSeptember 14, 2025Basically the feel of a good pulp horror movie, but with cars instead of murders.
- Jakeys1d agoTaken at face value, it's uneventful and kinda boring. It's a far better movie if you try and interpret the underlying meaning. This becomes basically unavoidable if you watch the superior UK theatrical cut with Charlotte Rampling acting as (possibly) the Angel of Death, but it's not the only sign of a deeper, existential film buried beneath the surface. If he's just a guy on drugs driving from point A to point B, it's three stars. But the movie is saying more than that, and it was intriguing enough to warrant an extra star. It's still a little slow though.
