Turbulence
- Mike Shulman16 mars 2026I don't get all the hate for this one. The acting isn't awful it's fine. The visual effects aren't awful. They can be pretty good at times and meh at other times... but I mean there's budgetary restraints there. As for the story... it keeps your interest for 90+ minutes in a hot air balloon. It's even effectively tense at times. Now it does spiral into a little bit of ridiculousness at the end but a lot of thrillers are guilty of that. I've definitrly seen way more over the top than this. Hera Hilmar's restrained performance as the scorned (or is she) wife was the best performance in the movie. Everyone else was perfectly serviceable. Jeremy Irvine did get on my nerves a little as his performance just turned on a dime. Also... I had no idea Kelsey Grammar was in this... I kept saying... that looks like a foreign Kelsey Grammar... until I paused it and checked and there's a reason it looked like him... it was. Turbulence 6/10
- Oʂɯαʅԃσ Rσყҽƚƚ14 décembre 2025Good, tight knit thriller set in a cool location. Contained thrillers are difficult to find a new angle but this achieves it. It's a well crafted film with good acting and pacing. Definitely worth the watch. Pacing works well. The leads do a good job of creating tension and the cameos are well executed.

- Josh C15 février 2026The premise was great, sort of like Fatal Attraction in a hot air balloon, but they dropped the ball. The movie ended up trying to do too many things and tried to be too man types of movies that it just ended up falling a bit flat. The first part of the movie was much better and had much more promise than the rest of the movie. A lot of lost potential here.
- ርልዪረ14 décembre 2025Superb movie with great acting from this cast. Very interesting concept. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Highly recommend watching. But be weary it is a tiny bit scary with a few just scares. Overall phenomenal and great effects. I have no idea how they pulled this off but it really looked great. Finally Hera who plays Emmy was the highlight of the movie she brought a softness, innocence coupled with a headstrong determination.
- Clarence Boddicker22 janvier 2026This movie is objectively not very good, but I have a fable for this genre, just like "Fall" or "Frozen", so I can forgive the weak and predictable story, the bad acting and CGI effects.
- Jim Pickett15 janvier 2026Weak story
- biatch017 décembre 2025Probably one of the absolute worst movies I've watched in recent times... I gave it half a star because of the interesting and unique premise, but it was pretty much all downhill from the time they got off the ground.
- JoshuaW6 janvier 2026I thought this movie was VERY suspenseful. Better than what I was told. Thanks to others reviews leaning towards a good movie to watch. I would have passed it up. Now, that I know men shouldn’t hit women.😕, sometimes in a rare moment ya need to. This could be a 4 out of 5 stars. 3 1/2 for me. Frustrating to watch sometimes. Maybe re-watchable. Choke-a-Hoe tribe productions.
- Jabbar11115 janvier 2026Turbulence (2025) is a masterclass in how to waste time and money. Nothing works — not the story, not the acting, not the so-called suspense. The plot crashes harder than the "Hot air" balloon it’s desperately trying to make exciting, and the characters are so unbelievably dumb you start rooting for the movie to end early. The dialogue sounds like it was stitched together from rejected action-movie trailers, and the pacing is so bad it somehow feels rushed and boring at the same time. Any tension the film tries to build immediately collapses under cheap effects, shaky camerawork, and nonstop noise pretending to be intensity. By the final act, Turbulence isn’t a thriller — it’s punishment. No payoff, no logic, no reason this needed to exist. Watching this feels like turbulence without a destination.
- ricomckee4 janvier 2026So the movie is better than you think it will be … but still a hot air balloon thriller for 90 minutes is a stretch. The plot is full of holes and tropes and if you look too closely it has more holes than a hot air balloon. The camera filter is what lost some stars here. A weird filter that blurs the sides and creates this weird coldness was used but all it made me want to do was get my vision checked to make sure I wasn’t going blind. Some better writing and perhaps some time on the ground could have made this a really good movie… by the way… no turbulence in the movie.
- Hipster ZOMBIE3 janvier 2026Turbulence (2025) tries really hard to rattle your nerves, and for a while, it actually succeeds. The film delivers some genuinely anxiety-inducing moments—claustrophobic chaos, escalating tension, and that constant sense that everything is about to go horribly wrong. Everything you don’t want to feel when you are up in a hot air balloon flying through the Italian Dolomites. Unfortunately, every spike of suspense is quickly undercut by the downright stupidity of its main cast, who make one baffling decision after another like it’s a competitive sport. Yes, Kelsey Grammer shows up, and yes, he’s easily the fan-favorite presence here—but don’t get too attached. In fact, don’t get attached to anyone. Character depth is sacrificed at cruising altitude, and emotional investment is tossed off the side of the carriage. Are cast of airborne morons include Zach, a cut throat businessman who fires the wrong person and then proceeds to cheat on his wife with a complete psychotic woman named Julia who is looking to blackmail Zach and make his ride in the hot air balloon about as fun as a dentist visit. Especially considering Zach’s wife,Emmy, is there and has no clue what is going on. The you have Harry (Grammer) who just wants to ride his damn balloon around the mountains for these jackasses. Turbulence works best when you stop caring about logic and enjoy the messy ride for what it is: dumb, stressful, and occasionally entertaining nonsense.
- erikrem26 décembre 2025If you’re scared of heights then you’ll definitely get out of your seat and walk and pace around! Very anxiety filled and sometimes nauseous. Great plot twist at the end!
- tom_wen26 décembre 2025Enjoyable plot and somewhat original.
- gtate8722 décembre 2025So formulaic it became unenjoyable.
