Caught by a security guard who mistakenly holds him responsible of a theft orchestrated by the mysterious Pie, Max is in trouble. Luckily, his new neighbor Sellie sets him free and, together, they meet with Trollie. Unfortunately, Sellie’s father hears about the troll and goes out of his way to expose the creature to the public. But Trollie is very miserable being put in display and Max stages his escape to reunite his troll friend with his family in the land of Ekeby.
