- M08Y30. november 2025It's less bad than Age of Extinction. The Last Knight is a step up from Age of Extinction. It's shorter, punchier and considerably less annoying. It feels a lot less forced than AoE but just as "untransformers-y". For some reason, this movie has continued the trend of AoE by bringing transformers knights and creators into the mix which didn't work then and certainly doesn't work now. The world building in the original 3 movies is mostly ignored and we are now told that Earth and Cybertron are ancient enemies..... oh okay then. The characters are way less annoying this time around. Almost all of the annoying side characters are forgotten about after half an hour and even Mark Wahlberg manages not to be irritating. The new characters of Vivian, Burton and Cogman are all fun and nice additions. There is less horrible CGI. The CGI still is pretty horrible, but there is a lot less of it, which is nice. Using real locations things makes the world of difference. The nano-tech transformers are gone and so is the gimpy "Galvatron" version of Megatron. This time around, we have proper Megatron... why? Don't know but I won't complain. As previously mentioned ,the visuals are a bit easier to accept this time around as your eyes can actually focus on things. The IMAX scenes look GREAT and are always appreciated. The audio overall is pretty good. A decent little 4K Bluray indeed. "I've Cum" - Optimus Prime
