Transcendence Ratings & Reviews
- DisentOctober 15, 2025Underrated at the time of it's release and also ahead of it's time. The world we live in now with the looming threat of ASI on the horizon seems so far removed from the world in which this movie was released. it doesn't feel so unrealistic anymore and it tells an important tale that the language has since evolved to make clearer - Alignment won't save us from an ASI, only if we integrate with it, may we have a chance of surviving with our agency in tact.
- makdelartNovember 3, 2025A dull, overly simplistic lecture on the dangers of AI, ending with senseless sentimentality.
- parktool69December 1, 2024confusing
- robert39109May 8, 2025Good movie but the writers aren't to bright. If you can't pump water people start dying in about 3 days, espically in the desert regions. People are going to kill each other to get at the maybe a weeks worth of food in the stores. Then starvation and people will eat their pets then each other. That quiet world would be filled with fire, smoke screams, the dead and dying.
