- Anthony PratteFebruary 18, 2025Good. But the end could have been better.
- RyezooFebruary 15, 2025Zombies on a train! These zombies are awesome. Super fast and can't see in the dark! The first half of this is pretty fantastic. It builds up nicely and when all hell breaks loose it's claustrophobic and intense. Some great moments of action and likeable characters to root for. The pacing zig zags in the second act and the bizarre and annoying businessman dick take away from this movie being great. The running and brawling happening between the trains reminded me a lot of Snowpiercer and that's a positive. I thought the acting from the dad to the pregnant couple was good, but the little girl killed it! Innocent, scared and believable. The fire and train yard scene does come off a little corny and the ending gave me mixed feelings. That won't stop this from being a fun ride definitely worth checking out.

- jackmeatDecember 17, 2024My quick rating - 7,7/10. Wow. This has to be one of the best zombie films to come along in a LONG time. Easily in the conversation of top 10. The Korean masterpiece does what very few zombie films will do. You genuinely care about the characters involved. This includes rooting for some, and you will downright also be pulling for others to become dinner. When a zombie infestation breaks out in Seoul, survivors are forced to survive upon a train on its way to a possibly safe city, Busan. How this outbreak occurs is slightly alluded to and really is unimportant to the overall struggle you are to bear witness to in survival. The attention to detail and creativity used to keep the action going while being stuck on a train for the majority of the movie is a treat to behold. The acting does seem to be well done and though I watched a dubbed version I checked the subtitles and I believe they were even worse to use with the Korean original speech. Either way, the acting looked good and felt convincing enough. The script took care of that. Ma Dong-seok was a nice addition to the cast here. An absolute must for fans of the genre with the style that is presented and scenes that just demonstrate the magnitude of full out zombie invasions instead of 5 or 6 of the undead roaming around town.
