Tow
Directed by Stephanie Laing- cultfilmlikerApril 27, 2026Rose Byrne is….Rosie the Relentless (about retrieving her ‘91 Camry) Didn’t even notice the eclectic cast before starting the film Felt like Rose was kinda just able to coast off of all of the effort she put into If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. Had similar vibes, parallel scenes, and lots of close-ups of Rose’s face. Also was it just me or did her wig look terrible at times lol (even reheated IIHLIKY leftovers are very good) Also Demi Lovato’s whole arc was very odd and out of place imo. Not every film needs a live song!! All that said, incredibly relatable film about modern wage slavery, crushing debt, and stifling bureaucracy. The attempted humor re: the bureaucracy mostly fell flat for me Good story of perseverance! Good message! The 4K looked absolutely brilliant Currently Ranked #31/60 in 2026 Ranked
