- Alyaa EidSeptember 3, 2025Touch felt less like a movie and more like an echo inside my heart. The chemistry between Kristofer and Miko was so pure, almost fragile, yet powerful like the poem he wrote: بحر هادئ وموجٌ عالٍ كالجبال. That scene stayed with me, because it wasn’t just words, it was his whole soul speaking. I loved how the film focused on small details the warm intimacy of Miko’s father’s restaurant, the drawings on the walls, the texture of the wood and stone. Every frame felt like memory What moved me most was Kristofer’s determination. Even with time running against him, even with age. he refused to let go until he found her. It wasn’t only about searching for Miko it was a fight against time! Touch is a gentle, honest reminder that true love never fades.
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025Poignant drama about two star-crossed lovers—an Icelandic university (eventual) dropout and the daughter of a Japanese restauranteur that meet in said restaurant in the UK. Taking place in two timelines—1960’s London depicting the genesis of the couple’s romance, and 2020 Japan by way of Iceland, in a world on the brink of global pandemic lockdown where Kristófer tries to track down his former sweet heart—cutting between the two timelines. A bittersweet love story that doesn’t necessarily end how I would have expected. Lovely performances across the board.
