Just out of the Academy but immediately suspended cop Lung meets gang leader Ho in a bar and become good friend. On the other hand, Lung also meets up with Ho's girlfriend from Tainan, Ying. The two don't know each other long but cohabitate and fall in love, but the two have to face Ho, who wouldn't allow them to live, beginning a series of chases.
