- bluriSeptember 8, 2025When the movie came out I didn’t like it and I didn’t understand it. Watching a washed up copy didn’t help neither. Seeing it again after 25 years I had a very different experience. It’s a story about morality wrapped up in black comedy post war chaos and confusion that happens at the end of every war. It’s about greedy soldiers looking for gold and finding their humanity.

I mean, surely this is the cinematic inspiration: Three Kings. . . and A Dead One. Never, whitewashed the poor one-eyed fourth one. But, really, "What is the problem with Michael Jackson?" Truly a mystery; even the World wonders at this eye-opening conspiracy. For certainly Mark Wahlberg did not just unsavourly swallow pure, black, super greasy, unrefined petroleum oil for nothing. Inevitably, he almost would have laughed, choked and died dumbstrucked and dumbwasted into this pitiless void. Why, Oh, Why would someone so dangerous suddenly tackle him with that indescribable, menacing, hollow thought? Where ends, perhaps, the rabbit hole?
