At times, the heavy comedic tone slightly undercuts moments that could have carried more dramatic weight. I prefer the classic Thor stories from the comics where he is a much more serious character, but this movie is by no means offensive to his legacy. Jeff Goldblum is always a pleasure to watch, and the cast all give good performances.

My only flaws are that it wasn’t as funny as I remember, meaning some scenes were kind of silly, and I wish we could have seen a little more of Thor vs. Hela. Other than those minor things, this is an awesome movie. And, as always, “Asgard isn’t a place, it’s a people.”
