The Yards Ratings & Reviews
- ChrisDecember 29, 2024This was a struggle for me. While I believe the acting was superb and the story of a young man just released from prison and getting caught up in the family business was decent there is just something that didn't work for me. It was very melodramatic and overly slowed. The presentation was off, it felt as if the movie was shot in slow motion. The acting and story kept me interested so I can't say it was a waste of time. Worth a watch if you have no other movie available.
- jackmeatNovember 9, 2024My quick rating - 6,3/10. If you just read the cast list, you know it will be well acted. While this is very true, the story itself doesn't really do a whole lot. Not saying it is bad, but I was really hoping for a lot more than this. But still ends up being a decent story of the good kid in the family that gets himself pinned between the police, and his own blood.
