The Willoughbys Ratings & Reviews
- gas station pump lighterJune 11, 2025not the greatest weird family movie ive seen, but its pretty damn good
- DdoughnutMay 11, 2025These parents are freaky like the nightmares you have in your sleep
- RichardOctober 5, 2025This one’s weird in the best way. It’s loud, twisted, and kind of sweet underneath all the chaos. Right from the start, it throws you into this candy colored nightmare of a family. The parents are so selfish and bizarre they almost feel like villains from a Roald Dahl fever dream. And the kids? They’re just trying to survive it all, figuring out what family actually means when the one you’re born into is a disaster. What surprised me was how much heart it had underneath all the madness. It’s not just about escaping bad parents, it’s about building something better, even if it’s messy and unconventional. The ending doesn’t go for some big emotional gut punch, but it lands in a place that feels earned. It’s not your typical animated movie. It’s loud, strange and sometimes a bit much, but it’s also got something real buried in all the chaos. Definitely one of those oddball films that sticks with you.
