- pipanni3d agoCute but nothing special. Watch Zootopia or Kung Fu Panda for a similar but much better story.
- rg9400November 1, 2024If you told me this movie was made by Pixar, I would have fully believed you. In a lot of ways, this movie manages to effortlessly capture the emotional heart and wholesomeness of those movies while still feeling inventive and quirky. The music and animation is top-tier, and it is supported by a phenomenal voice cast. The plot beats do feel a bit predictable and cliched, but the movie is so incredibly well-paced so that nothing overstays its welcome. Certain developments could have easily taken up larger chunks of the runtime, but the movie methodically moves through them without anything feeling rushed. The movie is brimming with positivity, and I think families that take their kids will be rewarded with great life lessons for them, but the real core of this movie is actually for the parents. This movie deserves just as much love as the products of Disney Animations and Pixar, please go support it and the author whose book it is based off!

- TamilforceJuly 16, 2025Surprisingly it was great. The trailer didn’t do justice.
- raphfire2012July 10, 2025Love the animation I can’t anything about the story since they didn’t make it but it still a good movie to watch with friends and family
- mehenningerJuly 6, 2025Very sweet and very funny. This may a bit 'violent' for young kids as nature's brutality is on display in the early film. These moments are brief and not overdrawn. The Wild Robot is a widening of the benchmark for animation.
- Kevin WardJuly 1, 2025Didn’t love it like I thought I would but it was a solid family animated adventure. Gorgeously animated throughout, though I really didn’t like the aerial battle near the end, that is captured like a war film, but just has this generic hexagonal biodome like structure in the background. That sequence has a noticeably sterile aesthetic, compared to the lush and wild natural backdrop of the rest of the film. As a parent, the film almost seems geared towards the parent perspective for most of the runtime and tackles some heavier themes. But that kind of made the finale a little less satisfying as everything kind of wraps up with some very rose-colored glasses. Absolutely enjoyable, but I wouldn’t hail it as one of Dreamworks best, as the marketing is proclaiming it is.
- explodingcigarJune 25, 2025Surprisingly good. Give it 5 minutes and you'll likely stay in your seat happily enjoying the full movie. Highly recommended.

- Ray HopkinDecember 3, 2024There was a lot of dust in the room while watching this, honest... What a brilliant movie, a great adaptation of the book. I can't wait for the sequel...
- DarkAlchemist007June 18, 2025So wholesome! If you loved WALL-E, you'll love this even more. The subtle dark humor kept us rolling!
- stuhannafordJune 8, 2025A warm, beautiful movie about the trials of growing up, be that as a parent, child, or simply someone who has lost their way. The twists and turns of life, searching to belong, find friendships and a place to call home. The laughs are subtle, but with heart. Whilst there are without doubt, messages of a political and social nature, I preferred to watch and enjoy with a more naive eye, perhaps in the same way as our leading characters do. A simple world, where Roz takes the wilderness around her at face value, and offers to do little more than she, or we, are programmed to do at our (processing) core… help those around us, and try not to do anything to the detriment of them. Sad, uplifting and most of the things in between. Wonderful.
- joseorellana66June 2, 2025It's perfect heart worming sad deep stunning and makes the celebrities not seem so obviously and the second and third act are some of the best I have ever seen
- VarunOctober 20, 2024Really lovely animated movie. I think after seeing such high ratings and praise and briefly catching a glimpse of the trailer, I went in with the expectation that there would be some really deep themes about nature and humanity and have more realism, so I was a little disappointed on that front when the movie seemed to be aimed more at children, nonetheless this was still an amazing film I enjoyed. The animation is really good and has a serene quality to it. Roz as a robot is a very well developed character and it’s always great when a movie can get you to empathise with it. Fink and Brightbill are also interesting, with a fun cast of side characters. The pacing is also great, getting right into the action from the beginning and never letting your attention get away. Although the themes and story beats are quite simple, they were still depicted in an original way and are often heartwarming, cute and riveting. I wasn’t aware before that this was based on a book, Dreamworks knocked it out of the park with this adaptation and I’m looking forward to the sequel. I always feel lame demanding a more serious tone from a kid’s movie, but I think if they tighten up some of the basic humour and develop more nuanced side characters, then the sequel has the potential to reach GOAT status for me.
