The Tomorrow War Ratings & Reviews
- bonneyt69March 23, 2026Interesting premise! Have time travel and Apex Alien Creatures , Ok , not great , not bad ...
- fredbeardFebruary 20, 2026I love this movie and can watch it just about any time. It's a simple turn the brain off, popcorn and explosions movie. I doubt anyone would take it seriously. J.K Simmons knows a thing or two because he's <redacted> or two. Have fun!
- ZokkiieJanuary 21, 2026It feels like a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it’s an entertaining, action-packed sci-fi flick with plenty of explosions, futuristic alien battles, and Chris Pratt doing his usual action-hero thing. The concept of soldiers being drafted into a future war through time travel is a cool idea, but the execution? Yeah, it gets pretty messy. The plot doesn't always make sense, and there are some pretty big logical gaps that you’ll probably just have to ignore to keep enjoying the ride. The emotional moments, while trying to give the movie some heart, can feel a bit forced or predictable. But if you're in the mood for something fast-paced with cool visual effects and decent performances (Pratt's definitely carrying it), it’s not a bad choice. It’s just not as smart as it wants to be. Still, it’s a decent watch if you don’t mind a bit of sci-fi silliness.
- Jason LaytonNovember 20, 2024Only Chris Pratt can make a cheesy action movie as entertaining as Hell.
- Spaceman JoeDecember 4, 2025The plot is insanely stupid but I gotta admit it’s a blast. Dumb fun i guess
- StinkygregJanuary 18, 2026Excellent movie.
- ClowniEDecember 28, 2025Not a bad time waster. Not great, not bad but enjoyable.
- The LeviathanNovember 26, 2025Super good only flaws are it doesn't conclude everything super well at the and it could have had better humor.
- Jalal.ENovember 23, 2025Very similar to edge of tomorrow , still a good watch
- RichardAugust 3, 2025This movie is like a big-budget summer rollercoaster, loud, fast, and full of alien guts. The premise? Humanity gets a visit from the future: in 2051, we’re losing a war against terrifying aliens called White Spikes. So they start drafting people from the present to fight in the future. Yes, it’s as wild as it sounds. 🎬 What I Enjoyed Chris Pratt Is in His Element: He balances action hero grit with emotional vulnerability. You believe him as a dad, a soldier, and a reluctant savior. The Creature Design Is Awesome: The White Spikes are genuinely creepy like Starship Troopers bugs on steroids. The Action Is Relentless: From rooftop shootouts to jungle ambushes, the pacing rarely lets up. The Time Travel Setup Is Intriguing: The idea of being drafted into a future war is fresh, even if the logic gets messy. 🤯 What Made Me Groan Time Travel Logic Is a Mess: If you’re a stickler for sci-fi rules, this will drive you nuts. The paradoxes pile up fast. The Third Act Feels Tacked On: Just when you think it’s over, there’s a whole new mission. It’s fun, but structurally clunky. Too Much CGI: Some scenes feel like video game cutscenes, visually impressive but emotionally flat. ⭐ Final Thoughts The Tomorrow War is a popcorn sci-fi flick that’s big on spectacle and light on logic. If you can forgive its narrative leaps, you’ll get a thrilling ride with solid performances and some jaw-dropping alien battles. It’s not a genre-defining classic, but it’s a blast for a Saturday night.
- pipanniSeptember 22, 2025Watchable and with some nice special effects, but a very "by the numbers" sci-fi action movie. To be honest, I was constantly expecting some kind of unexpected twist that would turn the story around or make it more interesting, but that never happens.
- jackmeatJuly 19, 2025My quick rating - 6.5/10. They definitely spared no expense on the action and effects here. Those sequences are top notch, keeping you glued to the screen. A lot of attention to detail in the cinematography and CGI blend really looks superb, especially in the creature designs. Very much made me think of "Starship Troopers" when the aliens would swarm in attack mode. This is exactly what a summer popcorn flick is supposed to be. The initial scene when they jump ahead 50 years is well worth the price of admission ;) And with that said, there is the completely ridiculous take on time travel these morons had. By the title, you know something happens with our star, Chris Pratt, being sent into the future to fight a war that hasn't happened yet. Ok, that logic is fine, but then it all just falls apart. I want to point out spoilers just so you can understand the stupidity involved, but I am sure many of you are going to check this one out on Amazon Prime. I'll just say it was pissing me off to no end how many times I had to say "Why the hell is it going to matter?" in the things that are said and done with the time jumping. And you will to since it just defies simple logic, such as when I typed 6.5, that is in the past. Period. So if I go back to the past and change it to 6.8, well in the future it is gonna be 6.8 (which is where I started until I got angry about this time travel dilemma). If that part makes sense, then this movie will anger you. All I am gonna say without spoiling it. But if you push that aside, you have a really nice-looking action flick that will grab and hold your attention up to the very end, as silly as the cast's approach to defeating the aliens ends up being. That will also fall into your anger of time travel, and this movie, well, more anger at the screenwriters for being so dumb. WOW, I didn't even swear, and trust me, I want to. You fix up the story a bit, and you are looking at gold.
