By the time it reaches the big reveal, the tension has tightened enough to make the payoff genuinely satisfying. It’s not groundbreaking, and it has its flaws, but it sticks the landing in a way that makes the ride worthwhile. For fans of slow-burn horror with a strong mystery at its core, The Shrine delivers a solid, entertaining watch.
