- cyberbillp26 février 2025It's a sad, dark, grim bit of history. It's shot well, the actors are great, sounds good, but it doesn't transcend the traditional dread and loathing of the horror genre to reach into torture porn or become a gore fest. It focuses entirely on painting every single man in the film as a horrible psychotic sadist. Hollywood never tires of flogging that horse, but we the viewers have probably had enough man-hate movies at this point. Still it's worth a watch if you are into Inquisition movies. Love the main actress "Charlotte Kirk", and all the men are suitably despicable. It accomplishes it's goal, even if no one wants it.
