It's shot well, the actors are great, sounds good, but it doesn't transcend the traditional dread and loathing of the horror genre to reach into torture porn or become a gore fest. It focuses entirely on painting every single man in the film as a horrible psychotic sadist. Hollywood never tires of flogging that horse, but we the viewers have probably had enough man-hate movies at this point. Still it's worth a watch if you are into Inquisition movies. Love the main actress "Charlotte Kirk", and all the men are suitably despicable. It accomplishes it's goal, even if no one wants it.
