The Raking Ratings & Reviews
- jackmeatJune 29, 2025My quick rating - 3.3/10. The effects are literally the Creature from the Black Lagoon in quality, and the monster looks a whole lot like the 1953 classic as well. But this isn't some homage to that; it is a group of students doing a school project on an urban legend. Of course, the one they pick happens to be a couple of hours away, and real. So insert your tropes, watch them die in fairly everyday ways. Ok, a tad better than leaving all to the imagination, but still a shoestring budget. That isn't always a bad thing, but when you have no creativity in your story, that leaves a lot of work to the acting. Well, they didn't get any help there either.
