Henry Thomas proves that the US can't work out good child actors - as he's actually likeable and not a horrible precocious brat like McCauley Caulkin in Home Alone etc (not his fault) Story is solid 80s fantasy. Well worth a look if you want something nice to watch while it's pouring with rain.
