Directed by Stewart Raffill1943 inleder den amerikanska flottan en serie experiment, som skall göra fartygen osynliga för fiendens radar. Experimenten går över förväntan. Men glädjen över de lyckade försöken förbyts i rädsla när två officerare, David och Jim, på ett av fartygen försvinner. Utan att veta om det har man öppnat ett "tidshål" och de två officerarna har kastats 40 år framåt i tiden. Deras "ankomst" registreras av myndigheterna, som försöker få tag i dom, men det enda David och Jim vill är att ta sig tillbaka till sin egen tid. FBI och polisern inleder en klappjakt på dom över hela USA. Deras enda hopp, att inte bli fångade i framtiden för alltid, visar sig vara en ung kvinna som forskar med ett liknanade experiment, som flottan gjorde 1943.

- Anders Karlsson4 november 2025A forgotten gem? First time I sae this must have been in the early 2000s. It was one of the earliest DVDs releases we had in sweden. Can't remember it more then I found it pretty good. But now I saw it again some 20+ years later and wow, I really liked it. Very good movie and should I say I must watch for any sci-fi/suspense fan?
- Stian Andreassen3 april 2026What should have been a cool mad scientist sci-fi thriller, with the B story romance puttering in the background, instead lets the B story completely take over, putting the main plot on the backburner. The result is an excruciating slow burn melodrama of Nancy Allen helping Michael Paré in his fish-out-of-water struggle, focusing mostly on their growing romance (romance? Stockholm syndrome, anyone?) in a wannabe character study, intermitently interwoven with small drips from the main story – the one you actually came to see.
