Regie George ArchainbaudGene Autry (Gene Autry)tames and sells wild horses to the Saddlerock Stagecoach Line, manager by Arlie Williams (Gail Davis). His only competitor, Doc Lockwood (Lyle Talbot),ambushes and shoots Gene but Panhandle Gibbs (Pat Buttram_, a roving peddler, nurses him back to health. When a race to test the Autry horses against Lockwood's is arranged, Lockwood's henchmen sabotage Autry's stagecoach.
