The Old Guard 2 Ratings & Reviews
- darsanJuly 2, 2025this film was basically a hugee set up for the next part and finally wraps up and i hope it doesn't take too long to come out cause i need more of andy and quynh.
- SSCMegalodonJuly 10, 2025Unwatchable rubbish movie wasting time!!First Old Guard really really good!
- Kristian Odland3d agoI was hoping for a brutally bloody showdown between the Neon Blonde, and Kill Bill's Bride, but all I got was this mediocre sequel. If nothing at else, you have to admire Charlize Theron for putting in the work. Her fight choreo and stunt work is pretty impressive for anyone of any age. I can't wait for part III....
- Jigs@w5d agoA very bad film. The first one was much better
- JeremeyJuly 11, 2025— Unreal immortal mercenaries. Real beef crisis. I stuck it out to the end — no pause, no bathroom break, just me, my couch, and a growing curiosity about the national price of 80/20 beef. By the time the final showdown hit, I was deep in a rabbit hole of ground chuck inflation charts. Which says a lot about the climax. Mainly that I didn’t notice it. This sequel reunites the same undying badasses from the first movie… and proceeds to do absolutely nothing interesting with them. You’d think warriors who’ve lived through centuries of human carnage might have a few stories to tell. Instead, they shuffle around like tired coworkers at a mandatory retreat in Prague. Charlize Theron still looks like she could knock out a rhino with a glare, but even she seems checked out — like she’s mentally trying to DoorDash out of the script. And the rest? Mostly there to say cryptic things and remind you they can’t die... which is ironic, because I felt like I did. Slowly. The action is fine. The plot? It’s like someone fed the first movie into ChatGPT with “add sequel energy” and hit send. And the ending? You ever stare at your screen for ten seconds, wondering if your Plex froze — only to realize the movie just… ended? That. ★★☆☆☆ One for the cast. Half for commitment. And a bonus half-star because now I know beef is $5.69/lb at Walmart.
- Rhysybabe5d agoJust a bunch of swords and tacky fighting
- Jan Hayes6d agoEnjoyed The Old Guard 2 almost as much as The Old Guard but not crazy that it left as a cliffhanger with no clue there will be a third movie to tie up the loose ends. And if there is, hope it won't take another 5 years.
- jonnizJuly 9, 2025Despite its strong cast, including Charlize Theron and Uma Thurman, the sequel failed to capture the essence that made the original film a success. Given the general consensus, The Old Guard 2 earns an average rating of 2 out of 5 stars.
- Scott SmithJuly 4, 2025Not quite as good as the first one, but I still enjoyed it. Lots of action, a good story, and I'll watch Charlize in anything. It's mostly a set-up for the third movie in the trilogy...which I will be watching too. A decent popcorn action movie series.

- DermotJuly 23, 2025Terrible
- Duda CaribeJuly 3, 2025Everything indicates that we will have the third part. This story is very good.
- Kich254July 21, 2025Contrary to my reservations on seeing the trailer, this movie is good, well maybe not as the first but it's entertaining. Besides the quick fixes here and there to get the plot going, I don't see what the fuss is about🫤
- zanomoJuly 19, 2025Fast forwarded most of the movie.
- Graham Kirk (Shed22)July 2, 2025Lots of action but the movie seemed like it had no direction until the end and now need another movie to glue it all together!!
