- Logastin13 gennaio 2026The Next Three Days is seriously underrated, one of my top favorite movies and Russell Crowe's John Brennan is one of my examples of great husband material (in my opinion). It’s not some over the top action movie. It’s about an ordinary guy who refuses to give up on his wife and is willing to do terrifying, impossible things because he loves her. Russell Crowe feels very human in this, scared, unsure, making mistakes, but still pushing forward anyway. That’s what makes it work. What I really love is that the relationship feels earned. This isn’t instant or shallow love. It’s built on history, commitment, and showing up when things are at their worst. Love here isn’t dramatic speeches, it’s action, sacrifice, and choosing the same person over and over again. If you care about real loyalty and love that’s proven, not just claimed, this movie hits hard and deserves way more credit than it gets.
